Hi,
I’m having issues with h3 tags using a smartlist template. The h3 tags are functioning properly in the smart-list but once I use the shortcode to end the smart-list all h3 tags after that are showing up just like regular ‘paragraph’ text and when I do ‘inspect element’ they don’t appear to have an h tag element to them.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I just test it my self and there it looks like to be a issues.

For the moment you can set H2 or other H element witch is not us in smart list in current post.

How can I expected to be updated once the issue is fixed. I’ve got them as h2 for now but would prefer to switch them to h3 for proper Hierarchical formatting.

Do you guys have an ideas when this will be fixed? Changing these headings to h2 tags isn’t a solution for me since it messes up hierarchy in my table of contents so I’m stuck with the h3 tags looking very small after I end the smartlist…

Almost another month and this is causing lots of SEO issues. If it isn’t fixed soon I will have to switch themes. ;-(

If you want I can provide you the fix, you need to go in:
wp-content\themes\Newspaper\includes\wp_booster\td_smart_list.php
go to the line 536 and replace the if condition with this one
if (!empty($matches) && $this->token_td_smart_list_end === false) {
