Hi, new user of Newspaper 9 here. I noticed that the library has elements for “most popular category” but not for tags. I add tags to all posts and would like to have some sort of ‘tag cloud’ showing the most used tags. How do I do I achieve that?

If I have understand correctly you’ll like to have a sort for popular tags,m if is so you can do that, please check this screenshots:

Just go in Appearance> Widgets select Most Popular, select the Filter and there you can sort for popular and filter by tags id.

Thank you for your prompt answer. A couple of clarifications/questions:
I’m looking for either a “tag cloud” or a ‘top 10’ most applied tags (Just like with Categories)

In my Appearance/Widget page I do not find the MOST POPULAR widget. In my (alphabetical) list it goes from “[TagDiv] Instagram” to “[TagDiv] Pinterest”. Did I miss something installing the Newspaper template? I also still have to figure out what these Block widgets are.
My Widget page also does not show the Default Sidebar used with my (Book Club) template. I can add/remove stuff using the TagDiv composer, but that also does not have the MOST POPULAR widgets.
Sorry if I sound a bit lost. 🙂

Lets take step by step:

2. Step tow search for [TagDiv] Block 7 and click on it and add widget ( https://www.screencast.com/t/ewodwSEtL ), or you can drag and drop in newspaper widget.

Thank you for the step by step. The result, however, is not what I was looking for. It will show the actual posts/articles, when I wanted a list of most used Tag IDs.
Imagine I have a sports blog and tag every article with the name of the sport(s) discussed in that article. I would now like to show a ranking of sports most discussed in my blog.
e.g. Football – 24, Baseball – 18, Volleyball – 16, etc. Or indeed a Tag Cloud where the word/tag “Football” is in a larger font, etc.
Any way of achieving this?
