It’s the case with almost all the rich snippets.

The theme does not offer any settings regarding rich snippets. It is an implementation that can be done using SEO plugins. The recommended plugin to use with our theme is SEO by Yoast. There are many guides on the Yoast website regarding rich snippets.

So, what you are saying is that it’s not a theme issue.
As the rich snipped shows the items as the title of the articles showing up in the Related Articles section of the Theme I highly suspect that it is related to theme.

I have to admit that I am no Google expert. So the problem is that Google is not displaying the articles you want in the search results? If that is the case, Google must be picking them for a reason.
The theme provides the required basic structured data but nothing else. There are plugins for adding additional data an rich snippets if needed. These would be necessary if you want to try and have more control, the theme has no settings in the matter.

I did check the links and screenshots, but I don’t understand the problem with the theme unfortunately.
Maybe you can explain a bit more and with more details, what you think the theme does wrong in relation to Google search results.
