Hi,
A child theme is provided in the theme package if you need one
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
The child is useful if you want to make modifications to theme files, add code in the theme files etc. Basically modify the theme and not loose the settings over an update.
Here are some guides with some general information regarding child themes
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-child-theme-pros-cons/
– https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/article/what-is-a-wordpress-child-theme-proscons-and-how-to-use-a-child-theme/
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
As I mentioned a child theme is included in the theme package, if you decide you require a child theme all you have to do is to install and activate it

Hi,
Please read our documentation about Child theme support from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Please be notice the child theme support included in our themes is intended for developers to modify core parts of the theme, without modifying the actual theme.
To edit the footer from child you can not use wpbakery , or td composer, you need to use program language like php
Thank you for your understanding.
