New install of WordPress, just purchased Newspaper which seemed to install fine. Then came the plugins and this happens.
Installing Plugin: tagDiv Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.

Return to tagDiv plugins panel
While not sure if this will cause future issues or some underline problem, I did manage to install all of the plugins by hand.

This issue happens in particular cases and is tied to a specific server and PHP configuration. There are a few steps in solving this issue, however.

2. change PHP version on your host and check security modules.
3. comment out the check for the error from the WordPress code:
