Whenever I try to intsall the black version of demo, I encounter an issue with my ssl cerificate. There will be no green padlock and it tells that the site is not fully secured.

Yes I was referring to the black demo version of the newspaper theme. Each time I try to install the demo I get mixed content warnings in the console which leads to a non-secure connection. What I mean is the https turns to http!
I have also found out where is the mixed content warning coming from.

Apparently, this is a demo image comes in-built with the theme.

Hi,
Could be an image used by the demo in the theme panel. After installing the demo, go over the theme panel top to bottom and replace demo images with your own.
