Hello, if I use tagDiv Composer for the layout and for the css, I would like to know if it resets to zero during the updates of newspaper. Is it to know if I should make a child theme or not?

No, is not needed to use a child theme if you want to customize your page with TD Composer. The child theme is useful when you want to make some additional customizations through the code which you do not want to be lost after a theme update.
