Images Not Displaying Properly

I have tried disabling all plugins and have regenerated all thumbnails a number of times. I get blank images on the site. The images show in WordPress for the article and in the Media, but they do not display.

I have also tried removing everything from the .htaccess file.

Hello,

I guess that issues happen due because your images get stuck to opacity 0. This error happens due to your untested plugins used by you. Please disable all of your untested plugins (Jetpack), clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Catalin,

Thanks for the help. Jetpack is not used on the site. When I cleared cache and disabled all plugins it still happens. For example the thumbnails in the categories drop down all show missing images. The site is https://www.TaughtToProfit.com

It is strange because the thumbnail that is linked in the code is a valid image that comes up if accessed directly. For example, this code in the menu:

Conscious Positivity Volumes 1 And 2: Meditation, Prayer, And Relaxation Music To Raise Your Vibration!

https://taughttoprofit.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/thumbnail-8-180×135.jpg in a browser brings up the thumbnail.

Hi,

Please re-download again the latest version of the theme from Theme Forest and install it via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. In the meanwhile, this issues has been fixed and you have to re-download the theme packet again.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks! I installed the updated theme via FTP, cleared the cache, but it still has the same issue. Is there something else that needs to be done to fix this issue?

Have a great day!

I cannot find any of those images as missing. The first error looks like an ad blocking issue? Are there old versions of the theme available to see if the problem goes away?

I found that the images go missing on category pages. For example, it seems that when on a category page it changes from:

https://taughttoprofit.com/images/dark.png

To:

https://taughttoprofit.com/category/images/dark.png

I found version 4.4 and installed it and it fixed the problem with no thumbnails showing. The images linking to the wrong area is still present.

Hi,

I have checked your website but I did not saw any problem with it. Provide some useful screenshots with the issue so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks.

For example, on the home page the image background above the newsletter subscription box works and looks like this:

https://www.taughttoprofit.com/side-on-homepage.PNG

On any category or other page it is missing and looks like this:

https://www.taughttoprofit.com/side-on-any-category-page.PNG

On the home page the background image is linked correctly, but on any other page it mislinks to the category or other page as being the folder containing the image, creating a missing image (the 404 errors that you were receiving).

For example, it seems that when on a category page it changes from:

https://taughttoprofit.com/images/dark.png

To:

https://taughttoprofit.com/category/images/dark.png

Also, do you know when there will be a new version of the theme that corrects the thumbnails being missing so I can upgrade from the older (but working) 4.4?

Thanks for all your help!

Hi,

It seems to be strange and the code for that newsletter does not come from our theme, sorry! As a quick fix, you need to use a bit of CSS code for this.

Try the code below ->

#optin {
background:grey!important;
}

Thanks.
