The plugin should be compatible, but it is not guaranteed. Mostly check and test thoroughly on minification and lazy load coz that’s where problems might occur.
I have WP Rocket installed and it works perfectly with Newspaper and does a great job for a faster website.
We are using WP Rocket on our 3 websites with Newspaper theme without any issues.
To avoid issues you can either enable minification with plugin or cloudflare. You can exclude theme js to avoid lazy load issue or just disable lazy load from theme panel and use lazy load feature in WP Rocket plugin.

We have the theme Newspaper 9 and we putted the plugin Wp-Rocket for cash.
Now we have a small problem, the count of post views isn’t working. We have putted a promotion on social media and we can see that more than 300 people viewed the post but the count is telling us only 50 views. Can someone help? The problem made WP-Roket but I cant find what is making it.

Post counts work with WP Rocket cache plugin.
Note: You must enable Ajax view count (only if you are using any cache plugin with theme).
to enable Ajax view count.
Go to theme panel >> Post settings >>> Ajax view count (keep counting with cache plugins)

Hello, i just bought a WP Rocket licence and it increased my website speed !
I still have one issue with the lazy load. According to Google Page Speed Insights, i could increase by 5sec the loading time with the lazy load, witch is enable in mm WP Rocket, but it seems not working on auto resizing by the theme

I tested the WP Rocket Plugin for the last couple Days… Pretty good results. I found one Problem. If i activate “Load Javascript deffered” the td post counter stops working (wont add visits to the current count). I activated and deactivated ajax counting, no difference. If i deactivae, the visits will be counted again.
Do you know a fix for this problem? Can i exclude a specific javascript to continue counting?

Seems, you are using Photon by Jetpack to load images on your website.
You can try disabling Photon or just use lazy load feature by Jetpack (Disable Lazy load feature in both theme and WP Rocket settings.)
Tip: If you are using Photon with WP Rocket, don’t forget to add Jetpack CNAME to WP Rocket’s CDN settings.

Just having trouble improving the mobile speed.

Goto WP Rocket Settings >> File Optimization >>> JavaScript Files >>>> Excluded JavaScript Files and add following line to exclude theme js.

Hi, we are using WProcket as well and it is much much better than WP Supercache.
One problem we have found recently though is that after few hours if we don’t clean the cache the homepage instead of displaying the mobile editor version, it is showing the desktop version. If we clear the cache in Wprocket the problem disappear. Internal pages seems fine. Do you have experience similar issue and how can be resolved (apart from clearing cache frequently on Wprocket)?

I’m not very sure, because we didn’t tested this plugin with our theme, also the WP Rocket have a lot of settings, you’ll need to find the right ones that are working with our theme.

we haven’t experienced your problems with WPRocket, but we don’t use the mobile theme of Newspaper. As a quick workaround a faster clearance setting of the WPRocket-Cache might be helpful.
There is also a setting in WP-Rocket to have a separate cache for the mobile pages. Maybe you should try to change this setting and see, if it helps.
