Since the recent update I am having an issue saving changes with the TagDiv Composer. After clicking save, it just spins without completing the process.
I have checked the updated theme requirements and increased the memory limit.
When I am on TagDiv Composer and Go to Chrome Developer Tools I get the following errors:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () font-newspaper.css:1
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () /wp-json/td-composer/save_post?
Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 403
Please can I have a response

I think all the file permissions are ok in the WP folder with 755 for all folders and sub-folders and 644 for all files.

I’m seeing the exact same problem and permissions on files are ok.
I had the same issue when I first installed the new theme. I disabled ALL of my plugins and then reactivated them, and somehow that fixed it. Hope that helps!
Plugins can also affect the proper functionality of the theme so please also test without plugins. Disable all the non theme plugins and clear all caching. Then test again.

I read in another post that someone says the newspaper mobile theme is causing this issue and to disable the theme and you can save again. Doesn’t sound like a viable answer since i need the mobile theme…

The mobile theme issue is a more recent issue that this topic. It only showed up in the latest version. You can still save using the mobile theme but the success message will not show up and the save icons keeps spinning, but it still saves. This glitch will be fixed in the next the me version. please test and confirm that this is what you are facing and not another issue.

Confirmed disabling mobile theme and save works.
When mobile theme is on, saving isn’t always consistent though. You may be able to make one edit but then you have to go back and refresh and re-save again. Please let me know when to expect a fix

So the mobile theme plugin was to blame, sorry again for this inconvenience. Shouldn’t be long before a theme update will be released, containing various fixes including the one for this issue.
