gutenberg problem for old posts

Hi
i updated my wp version to 5.0 and newspaper version to 9.2 last night, but now i get an error msg when click edit button for old posts.
Error msg:

(“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”)

i can not edit old posts.

how can i fix this?

Hello,

Please also test this on a wp default theme as the Gutenberg editor could not be compatible with a particular code you have in your post content. As an alternative you can try the classic editor plugin that will bring back the classic editor before gutenberg

i did not try with default theme. but before i try, want to know that:

-Will i get any error when i back to newspaper? Should i create a snapshot?

btw when i turn the classic editor, its not working properly.

Hi,

You should use the Classic Editor plugin to remove the Gutenberg effect. This plugin should works as expected, without any problem. If the problem is still there, please let us know and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your wp-admin and CPanel access for more further investigations.
