I am using the latest version of Newspaper. Despite having proper Yoast SEO settings and validating my blog with google and Social Accounts,I am unable to submit sitemaps to google. Furthermore, Pinterest is also unable to retrieve any meta data while trying to validate my URLs for Rich Pins. I contacted my host as well as Pinterest, but to no avail.

The theme does not control the information displayed by Google.
Try to regenerate your sitemap and submit it to Google, it may help: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/
For the problem with Pinterest please provide a link to your website were I can Inspect this problem.
