I am using Newsmag on my website The problem is with Whatsapp social sharing button. When I click on Whatsapp Icon under post title to share the post, Whatsapp open to select contact. After selecting the contact, Whatsapp message box is pre-filled with only post title when it should have a link to the post. Only post title is being sent to the contact without hyperlink to the post.

when we sharing these post the post link and post title is not showing completely on whataspp. when we removing the & symbol on post its working.

Those do not work, they work for all other socials except whatsapp for some reason. So if you remove the “&” from the post title it works?
The URL meta is present in the page source and the link seems to try and share the title and link from what I can see, but it stops at the “&”

I managed to recreate this on my end however. It is the same in my case. I will add this on our list and it will be investigated. We will try to fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yes when we remove the & sign at that time it will work

FYI, I just made some changes to the social sharing icons choices (removed Google+, added email sharing icon, stumblupon, etc…and now I can’t get the whatsapp icon visible. (http://www.HowNotToSail.com)

Note that some social buttons will appear only on mobile, when used they will open the mobile app and the post can be shared. On desktop they will not be visible.

i have the same issue, i add the whatsapp button to share an article but is not there, i add other social networks and remove and they work perfect but not with whatsapp
