How to add Colour Shadow over the thumbnail Image on Homepage?

On Newspaper gadgets demo theme, we can find a colour shadow over the images in the home page (first grid). How can I also add clour layer over the images for the homepage on Big Grid 1?

Hi,

That would be grid style 7, each big grid has styles that can be applied

Please check in the grid settings and select style 7 to have a similar design
