Hi,
On my website I have a section that says most popular (all time).
How do I edit which articles are in it?
Thanks.

If youre using the most popular 7 days module, the items shown are based on the most viewed items (popular)…. You dont choose them.

If you want to choose items in a module create an editors picks category, add posts to that cat, then pick a module and set posts to load from the picks cat.

Still not sure how to fix it. My website is http://thesagonline.com and I am referring to the section next to Quantum Prep Tutoring.

Basically to choose the stories you want, you can’t use “most popular” module as that sets the posts based on how many times they’ve been read.

You need to create a new category like “Editor’s Picks” then choose five stories and on the post page FOR EACH STORY you want to be in that new category, check box for “Editors Picks” category; then on front page create a new content block and name it “editors picks” and choose the editors picks category to load stories from. Viola! You can name the category whatever you want. I did one the other day “from the vault” …. but I like “editor’s picks” myself. Basically you’re creating a second ‘featured’ category, technically.

Hi,

Thanks Christopher!

@BHSSagamore

This section: http://screencast.com/t/D8cwdaLIe5h7 is the “latest articles” area as you are using the homepage with articles list template you have this section and you can customize it from here: http://screencast.com/t/EczSSlvEt6f and chose a category filter/offset/author filer just like on blocks.

Thanks
