Ajax post view count + WP Super Cache (+ autoptimize)

Hi,

I’m using newspaper with WP Super Cache and Autoptimize on.
Since I use WP Super cache post view count stopped counting.
I did have put the “post view count target on in the “post setting” feature in your dashboard.

Nothing to do !! Don’t work anymore. Like the saving of the DIV builder…

Example with this post :

diplaying 1 view

But Analytics is giving me 36 single unique views and 86 page view
post viw count

I’ve tried to put the target of the ajax post view count “off” … flushing the cache.. Putting it back on… And flush the cache. Always the same.

Hi,

There may be problems like this with caching. This dedicated option should work however
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
Try to deactivate all the plugins except theme plugins and the cache plugin. Leave the ajax count active, clear the cache, then check if the view counts increase.

OK.
I’ve investigated more.
the “Aggregate JS-files” function of Autoptimize is not compatible with “Ajax post view count”. It must be deactivated. …

If it can help people having the same issue.
