Comments control question

Hi,
I just noticed I that comments are accumulating on my site, but no one has made any actual comments. They have been generated automatically from me adding posts, or links – or something. Here’s an example:

Do you have any idea what’s going on?

And is there a way to turn comments on or off for pages, post or categories – in the Theme Panel?

Hi,

Maybe check in the WordPress comments section, to see who is the author of those comments. Or investigate the plugins you have installed, maybe one of them is automatically posting comments for some reason. If none of your users is posting comments, then something else is, could be a plugin.
