Lightbox not working with Gutenberg wp-core 5.0.3

For some reason content managed by new Gutenberg editor ignored by light box previewer.

Issue comes with new page layout via Gutenberg editor

So perhaps in next release we can add js parser to get image url via attribute data-link

Hi,

I believe the theme lightbox will apply only to images added in the classic element in Gutenberg
– http://prntscr.com/ma2nt0
There could be modifications to this functionality in coming updates, can’t say for sure at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience, also is I misunderstand the issue please correct me.

@simion you absolutly right, I know it,
in classic editor lightbox works perfect, main reason why I wrote this topic, to request bugfix/feature for next release.

The Gutenberg editor, is quite different, but its so cool and pretty.
and anyway after 2 years WP stop support classic editor, and Gutenberg comes like only one way to manage content.
