Thumbnails regularly not showing up – On and off issue

Hello all,

I have an issue where the thumbnail on my website does not show up regularly. Sometimes it is ok after a refresh, sometimes I have to refresh several times. My readers have been giving me the same feedback.

@robertcfp just regenerate all thumbnails with plugin Regenerate Thumbnails

after clean cache if you have it on your website

Thanks for the suggestion. I have spent the last 4 hours regenerating the thumbnails and clearing cache. However, the issue still persists on the side-bar thumbnails and the ones below each post.

@robertcfp looks like issue with some plugin, not Theme, check the screenshot,

PS: if you tried hide your project, also remove url from dev-console

Hi, thanks for the advise thus far. I am trying to turn off all plugins and see which one is causing this issue.

But I am perplexed why it happens on and off. 50% of the time the thumbnails come out just fine…

After testing for a couple of hours, it seems that the Disqus plugin was causing this issue. Really weird. I will update again if there are any more issues, for now everything seems fine!

similar issue sometimes comes with Akismet plugin,
perhaps solution for you, use custom disqus plugin, or migrate to native WP comment system (which better for SEO)

Sadly, the solution did not last long. The missing thumbnails error is back 🙁

I’m having the exact same issue… Is this maybe related with the cache plugins?

If this is in fact related with the cache its a big issue since we really need to use the cache plugins…

Anyone found a better solution besides just turning of the lazy load?
