How to put email opt-in form in Google AMP?

Hi there,

Is there a way to put a subscription form for my newsletter inside the Google AMP version of our blog posts? I tried to do this with a shortcode-based 3rd party plugin (Thrive Leads), but it didn’t work. Do I need to use the newsletter plugin for TagDiv for this? The 3rd party plugin uses Javascript, which is probably why AMP is stopping it from working.

Google AMP is a large part of our website traffic, so it would be great to figure out how to make this work!

P.S. We’re using Getresponse as our email service provider.

In order to achieve that you need to check the documentation for amp-forum from here -> https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-form

Hi there,

Will you guys start supporting email opt-in forms inside the TagDiv plugin for AMP and/or inside the Newspaper theme? Because it sounds like that is not the case, while e-mail marketing is a pretty basic need of most online businesses.

Unfortunately I do not know if this will be implemented very sun in our theme, because until now there was not no suggestion for this feature, sorry!
