Author Page Redirecting to Home Page

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is an option in wordpress or the theme, but my website techmessage.com doesnt show author url properly. When i go to techsmessage.com/author/munira for example it will just redirect to the homepage. How do i fix this?

Double check you don’t have a bad high ascii character in the username; make sure you choose the “display” setting for the user correctly.

For example, if the author username is “munira” but it’s being displayed as Muni Buni then the author link would actually be something like

site/author/munibuni/

@nache In some cases seems that the problem for this is the plugin SEO by Yoast. Please make sure you have this option unchecked: http://screencast.com/t/FDM20jqmxo and check again.
