Feature Request: Last updated date or Published Date Configuration

I’d like to be able to configure the timestamp on the power to be last updated on or Published on dates or even both. I searched and found some CSS hacks but it completely botches up the format/design of almost all templates so I figured i’d ask it as a formal feature request. Last updated is highly useful for travel so people see posts are kept current and sometimes on evergreen the published date just causes people to bounce thinking its old. I guess i could spam “updated on” as part of the post but that shows up on bing/google odd if they’re not pulling meta description
