Hello, I’m going to update from newsmag 3 to 4 manually through ftp server, I was wondering if doing this I could lose information, functionality or plugin that I had installed in the previous version

Hi,
Just in case, you need to make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data. Normally, all of your created content/settings/images etc. are loaded and saved in your database but for any event, we recommend to make a full backup.
