Im trying to set my fill’s opacity to transparent on this item: http://prntscr.com/ml0fae that uses a divider of the theme.
Unfortunately, fill-opacity:0 makes the whole object colored with fill’s color.
Any ideas?
My main idea is to move an image from the next divison up, with negative css margin top.
Hi,
The divider should be below the element you drag on top of it – http://prntscr.com/ml2jmt
Setting a high z-index for it will make the divider on top – http://prntscr.com/ml2ky7
So you want to make the divider transparent? – http://prntscr.com/ml2o34
I want to make the purple area transparent: http://prntscr.com/ml2ycr
Im trying to fill the orange area from this ss, with flex block 2 by giving it a negative css top margin: http://prntscr.com/ml30ph
Heres my current flex block 2’s state: https://prnt.sc/ml31pm
and heres the expected state I designed in Photoshop: http://prntscr.com/ml34ic
I hope that its clear now.
Hi,
What you can do in this case is to set on the row that you set the divider -> https://www.screencast.com/t/704qrepDj9 a background color -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0HfJJloXGFN0
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/DhNMQ9MPb
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
If you want the image to cover that zone then you’ll need to set an image in header zone like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cgoIVq68YRr4 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QWh87DBF6 unfortunately you can not set the content image to that background, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
This would solve the image issue, but part of the SVG will be BLACK if you set color to black and opacity to 1.
Check here:
http://prntscr.com/mlk30b
I need opacity to 1, and this part only, transparent: http://prntscr.com/mlk30b
Hi,
Hi that part is transparent, here is an example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/EvsAeRdIPxc , all you need to do is to customize all elements from your header ( menu, logo … )
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/WH4TmgWbC
Thank you for your understanding!
Please check this image: http://prntscr.com/mmolun
Is there any way to set opacity of 1) to 0.5 and at the same time opacity of 2) to 0 ?
Setting opacity to 0 for the whole divider, makes divider non visible.
Setting opacity to 0.5 for the whole divider, makes the bottom image (with negative margin-top) shown with a layer in front of it (divider’s bottom part)
Hi,
Maybe you want to achieve something like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RcgJSKvq7P -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cCxiBNyj0Y
Thank you for your understanding!
I tried the same, but behind the opacity of the divider, my image is not shown, even if it includes a -200 top margin > http://prntscr.com/mnlp45
Hi,
Please make sure that your image/flex is set in header not content and this will appear -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DvbpsxKQob

Thank you!
Hi,
Using header builder you can set how many headers you one, you do not need to use the same header for each page/post/category … all you need to do is to set on theme a different header
-> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-newspaper-theme-9-5-update/
Thank you for your understanding!
Ok, thanks!
I moved my flex block to header with negative top margin, but i still fail to have it properly shown:
Hi,
You have set a divider on bottom and that’s way is not apply those settings ( that divider is made from more pieces you can’t hidden one piece and that place to remain empty because there is another one behind that one -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5jrF5RxJ ), you’ll need to set a divider for top like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/usAQZOws
Thank you For your understanding!
Thanks for the guidance – I do appreciate it.
However, this way I will be able to start the divider right after the menu, but in my case, I want to start it in the middle of the menu bar > http://prntscr.com/monh5i
Hi,
Than all you need to do is to change the height and space until will align properly -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Z4NZoZUcAzg
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have a gradient color on header background this need to be reflect in divider too, will be something like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cUDZMOdzi12G
Thank you!
