I have the same problem, on top header menu
When I add a page as a menu, it disappears and transform in custom link without a link
I did not touch the wordpress customize function
I tried to create another menu from scratch, but all my menu are turned into empty custom link
I tried to deactivate all my plugin and the error is persistent

First please make sure that there is not a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins and clear all cache, after you do that try again.
