Hello,
I downloaded the 9.6 update, which actually is still 9.5 on ThemeForest after getting an email that an update was available.
After updating, my site is having problems. All pages are displaying strange shortcodes that I can’t get rid of. The page layouts are also messed up now.
Please assist!
Edit: I restored my site from a backup I made hours before, things are fixed, but this does not solve the issue of updating to 9.6.

Please login with your credentials on themeforest.net and download the Newspaper 9.6 from there with all files and documentation.

Before you make some updates please make sure that you make a full backup to your website.
After you make the update please check the theme plugins and activate tagDiv Composer if this plugin is not activated, also if you are using cloud templates activate tagDiv Cloud library too.

It is very serious issue.

If you want to disable the amp you can check this settings from here and use another amp plugin -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CRvuTCVj delete it from theme will also work; after that you can install a new plugin for AMP.
