Bugs with Column Borders – Newspaper 9.5

Hello,

My requirement is to create a border around a column which contains some list and a CTA. I am facing two bugs with it:

  • Border is extending beyond the column container and even beyond row container and into the left edge of the screen. Border Extension 1
    Border Extend 2
  • Border disappears if sticky is enabled for the column and the page is scrolled.
    Border Disappear 1
    Border Disappear 2

    • I am using tagDiv Composer to make the CSS changes. Your guidance is required!

    Hi,

    Are you stretching the row to full width? That may happen in this case. Try the stretch row with padding option – http://prntscr.com/mumudy

    Regarding the style disappearing in sticky mode this is investigated. Setting the border on the element itself inside the column will work in sticky mode. Sorry for this inconvenience.

    Hi,

    The problem is arising when I have selected ‘Stretch Row and 1400px content’ as I do not want that particular row to be full-width.

    Thanks for the clarification regarding the disappearing border in sticky mode, there is always a work around 🙂

    I tried setting up a row like you mention – http://prntscr.com/mv2i37 then a border on the column – http://prntscr.com/mv2in1
