Hi all, I have two problems.
First one:
The TD-composer has started to act weird, displacing all my stuff.. please see attached screenshots

(These images are from a temporary front page. I made a new front page to see if the issue would go away, but it didnt..)
Second one:
When adding video articles, the thumbnail image never sticks the first time. I have to upload the video 2 or 3 times before it uplodads. If not – the front page thumbnail stays blank. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I have checked your website but I did not saw any problems regarding your video thumbnails. It seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0Z9ezbv119N I saw that you have noticed that your images above come from a temporary front page but please notice that I need to see a live theme behavior so I can identify it closer, where exactly the problem is displayed. Also, please provide a certain URL with the problem for more investigations.

Hi. Regarding the videos. It takes two tries for the theme to pick up the images. I have to first publish then update once before the theme scrapes the image. No biggie, just a heads up for the next update..
About the other thing. I was trying to get the two featured articles to align with the edge of the page, but it doesnt seem to work even though i´m using Big Grid Full 2. https://teknikgalen.se has the correct front page now.

Regarding the Feature video/image, after you have load a Video as Featured in the Backend, after this, you need to Refresh the page if you want to see the results, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sZa3D32B The featured image seems to work as expected and it is automatically generated from your Featured Video.
Regarding your second problem, please notice that Big Grid Full 2 should works as expected and the result should look like this ->https://www.screencast.com/t/fLWwGMuR Please check the ROW settings from the TD Composer and make sure if your ROW stretch is set up to be Stretch row and content -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rxT46sZ7e If you have changed these settings, you need to roll back to the default settings.

Yes, that’s how the Featured Video/Image worked before the 9.6 update. Since updating to 9.6, you have to press Save Draft several times before the video thumbnail is added to the Featured Image.
I´m can confirm mparleviets claims. Press once – no thumbnail (however Twitter an FB-shares work fine)
Press twice or more – Newspaper fetches the thumbnail
This started happenening when the 9.6 update rolled out..

I’m not sure yet. I’ve tried updating twice now from 9.6 to 9.6.1, but for some reason the theme is not updating.
Okay, was able to update. Yes, the thumbnail scraping issue persists in 9.6.1. Takes a few saves before it grabs the video thumbnail.
Is there any update with this (thumb scraping) Im having the same issue with having to save draft at least twice before it creates the thumbnail. Its driving me crazy.

After some deeper investigations, it seems to be a problem with the latest version of Facebook API and this seems to affects the way of how the Facebook Featured Image works. We will hope to find a solution and implement it in our future updates.

is there an update with this? I dont understand what Facebook has to do with it. My site is not attached to Facebook. The website/theme is not generating a thumbnail for the video. You have to save draft twice in order for it to grab a featured image for the article…not facebook. Being that I use a lot of Youtube videos on my site, I would really like to know when this will be fixed as its slowing me down.

Unfortunately there was no progress in this matter up to this point. So when using featured videos from Facebook the post will not have an image thumbnail, unless you set one manually. The video will appear in the post page, but in blocks, grids etc it won’t have a thumbnail.
For the rest of the socials which are supported to be used in the featured videos field, there is no problem as far as I know. Sorry for the inconvenience.

But youre still talking about Facebook. Im not using facebook at all. If I put a youtube link in the video section, and click save draft…no featured image shows up unless I hit save draft 2 more times. This was never an issue before the update.
Sorry for misunderstanding, seems I didn’t catch that. Does it happen regardless of YouTube video used? If it does, it could be caused if the server is using an older PHP version. Try using versions 7, 7.1 or 7.2. Also these PHP extensions should be active

Both of those sections say available and my PHP version is 7.2.15…and yes its any youtube video. There are a few people in the beginning of this thread with the same issue.
