Hello,
I have a question regarding tagDiv composer menu. We are Newspaper company, and we are filtering posts by ID and using featured category for posting order. We are using this feature a lot and our posts for one month have reached over 5k numbers. We would find convenient to have bigger view field of this ‘post ID’. So my question is:
Is there a way to expand this field where we type in ‘post IDs’? 11876, 11760, 12852, 13635, 11472, 11787
PS
Also is there another option to set up posts(and order) on slider with ID?
Best Regards
Dragan
Hi,
If you want to filter your Slide block by Post ID, you need to check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/suAv0i7mOFuL If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks.
Dear Catalin,
The problem is that we have up to 20 news in one slider. As in the picture http://test.vesti-online.com:8080/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Screenshot_2.png We are now on five-digit numbers and in a few months we will be on the six-digit. This is a series of large numbers that we can hardly control. The question relates to the size of the window in which the article ID is entered. Can you help us expand the window for easier insertion and bindings of articles as shown in the picture. http://test.vesti-online.com:8080/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Screenshot_6.jpg If you have any other solution that we can directly insert a particular article into the slider order, it would be great.
Dear Simion,
We plan to release the web site on April 5, 2019. Please, if you do not have a better slider solution, at least make it as good as possible to increase the space in the Article ID window that is set up as we’ve sent you a request. http://test.vesti-online.com:8080/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Screenshot_6.jpg

Hi,
A long term solution with modifications in the composer files does not exist unfortunately. Modifications would have to be made each time the theme is updated.
One solution would be to add those posts in a category, create a category for this or use one of your existing ones. Then filter the block by that category.
If this is not possible, maybe copy the post ID field content in a text file, make the modifications you want (add, remove post IDs) then enter it in the field again.
I am sorry for this inconvenience, I have added this as a request on our list. Maybe for a future update a definitive solution will be found and implemented.
Thanks
