I’m using the newspaper theme demo (Nature Love). On it’s gallery page I want to add the link to the images. So that whenever someone click on the image it takes to that link.
Moreover, when I tried to add the caption to each image. The page collapse, why is it so?
How can I attach the screenshot here to understand it better?

Those are inline image elements, these do not have an option to set a link for the images, at the moment.
You could replace the inline single image with single image elements, these have an option to set a link for the images used – http://prntscr.com/mzgpjg
I tried setting a caption for the images, seems to work alright

What exactly are you entering in the caption field and what is happening? Let me know.

I’ve tried the option you gave. But in that case I don’t have any option to give a caption to the image:

how can I achieve that? as the inline image don’t have option to link and the Single Image don’t have option for caption.

I failed to see that, indeed it does not have a caption option. Then maybe a title over image element, in it you can set a title and a subtitle, it also has a link option

There are font options for the title and subtitle in the style tab

Note that you can configure one element as you want, then copy the style to another of the same type – http://prntscr.com/n0bznk – http://prntscr.com/n0bzqx
This way you only have to configure one title over image element, and copy the style to another one.
