How to change head for the whole website and not just the homepage?

If you want to change the general header for your website, you need to change it from Theme panel -> Header Style or simply import a new header and set up for the whole website, using the Cloud Template.

I have attempted to do this and click global template, however, when i try and see if it works on the main site it only changes the homepage and no other page.

You need to add your Header style here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FdkyLkh4N This is a general location which should apply it for the entire website. If you have a single template, for example, and if you have set up another header, all of the posts which have this template will have that header.
