Hy Guys , i got notification email that new update for newspaper theme is available.. DO i need to update my current theme newspaper to keep the functionality or can i keep the old one as i have set all ads and sidebars anbd dont want to do it again …
Just upload via FTP whitout translation folder. It will keep your settings.

When update it you won’t loose your settings or functionality only if you have modified files and you don’t need to update it only if you want too.
You can also make a back-up of your current theme installation so that you can revert back to it if something goes wrong then use this guide and update it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
It’s not a new theme it is just an update of it which we have done to fix some reported issues. You can also use the patch if you are updating from version 4.5.
