NewsMag: Target mis-match between the Menus and the Page names/urls

Hi – Using Newsmag, I have a site with a menu that has several choices. Each choice goes to a page (Home, Blog, About, etc). I want the URLs for these pages to reflect the title of each page, such as dev.tvstrategies.com/about.

From advice that I was given by tagDiv, in the WordPress admin panel, I changed the default to WP > Settings > Permalinks > Postname. When I select one of these pages (such as About) in the WordPress Pages list and look at the name of the permalink, the URL is as I wanted – dev.tvstrategies.com/about

However, when you view the site, the items in the menu point to pages that are numbered (as shown in Permalink > Plain format). So the menu item for ‘About’ is dev.tvstrategies.com/?pageID=38. Therefore, clicking the item in the menu doesn’t go to the About page.

Is this a Newsmag problem, or do I have a WordPress setting wrong? Do I need to edit something manually? In WP > Settings > Menus, I don’t see any way to manually enter URLs either.

What is the problem and what is your advice? Thank you.

Hi,

This page seems alright – https://dev.tvstrategies.com/about/

The others lead to 404 pages. For example I create a page with the title “privacy”
http://prntscr.com/n0zv2m
Then I add this page in a menu – http://prntscr.com/n0zvsv
I use a permalink structure like this – http://prntscr.com/n0zw5i which would be the most recommend as far as I know.

When accessing the page privacy from the menu the result is like this
http://prntscr.com/n0zyg9
No need to do anything else. maybe this is what you are trying to do. Let me know.

Thanks
