Google ads not showing (probably because ad code is not showing correctly???)

Hi
I added a few ad codes from adsense to my website using for example the theme panel/ads/header ads settings

My adcode looks like this in google adsense

<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
<!-- ijsberg_header -->
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
style="display:block"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
data-ad-slot="xxxxxxxxxxx"
data-ad-format="auto"
data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>

(I removed my Ids with X in this post but on my website they are there of course)

Now it has been 12+ hours and still I don’t see ANY banners in none of my add spots.

If I check the source of my webpages, instead of my adsense code, I see the following html code

<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script><div class="td-g-rec td-g-rec-id-header td_uid_1_5ca446d23f3f8_rand td_block_template_1 ">

Website at http://www.ijsbergrekenen.com

Is there something I do wrong ?

Kind regards,
Bart

Little addition. The website has been visited more than 100 times in 12 hours and by more than 100 different users, but still the adsense ad units stay at “NEW” instead of “ACTIVE” on the google adsense reporting pages ?

Does that mean that my ads are not displaying at all ? I did enter the ad core 100% correctly in the newspaper panel at the correct locations…. help please ?

Hi,

This usually happens when the account is not yet approved and Google is not yet serving the ads
