Hey guys, I am now running 3.5d – I am trying to use Module 7 and it doesnt seem to display the large featured image anywhere: http://screencast.com/t/J6dDveJEKyIH
Hi,
The module 7 layout shows the content of the posts including an image if there is one so in this case the featured image doesn’t needs to be set in order to appear on module because the image needs to actually appear in the post so if you have turned the featured image on posts off from theme panel or you use the gallery format for those posts the image will also disappear on module 7 layout.
Make sure you set a featured image for those posts and that the images it’a actually in the post. I have tested this using the latest theme version and found no issue with it.
Thanks
Hi,
Make sure that you actually have an feature image for those posts:
* http://screencast.com/t/YVfEPCC0j
* http://screencast.com/t/xjmYylEj9dhF
I’m saying that when you have the post format set to “gallery” then the featured image will not appear on posts so you need to make sure that this is not set as gallery format and that the featured image appears on posts like this: http://screencast.com/t/DJpdemRjPTk
This post will appear on module 7 layout like this: http://screencast.com/t/hWxGamrjSli
Thanks
I apologize, I have tested it with Gallery set and all have a featured image. I am guessing there is supposed to be the featured image at the top of the post itself? I may have hidden it and I have such a long amount of custom CSS that i need to clean up. Maybe if you can help and see if it is in here so I can remove it that would be awesome!

Hi,
I haven’t found any css related to this issue among the css you provided. Please also make sure that you have this enabled in theme panel as the featured image could also be remove from here: http://screencast.com/t/N3jfM0xu6 Also make sure again that you use the standard post format.
Thanks
Hi,
It should work, I have tested this live on your site: http://screencast.com/t/aQOcAkKkkQwB
Make sure you add it right.
.td-post-featured-image {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi,
Use this css media query’s to target just the tablets and desktop screens and remove the featured image like this: http://screencast.com/t/SZCzNYIqvt
@media (min-width: 767px) {
.td-post-featured-image {
display: none;
}
}
To remove the video from modules on category age use this css:
.category .wpb_video_wrapper {
display: none;
}
Thanks
@media (min-width: 767px) {
.td-post-featured-image {
display: none;
}
This code above DOES remove the featured image from above posts BUT it removes the featured image from showing in home/category view overall for this module. It’s strange because it loads but then disappears on the category views.
