Why the below meta tag missing in newspaper theme.
<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=UTF-8″>
As per the google doc “https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/79812?hl=en” http-equiv=”Content-Type” helps Google to understand the page’s content type.
Please suggest me a way to include that meta tag.

In order to have more control over title, descriptions, meta and tags we recommend to use the Seo Yoast plugin because is tested with our theme and is working properly.

charset=UTF-8 is present but http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html” is missing. This is what I mean.

Form html5 is not longer need the http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html” tags
