Hi, I noticed that youtube videos will not played since a while. Only a picture of the video will be opened. If the Video will embedded in the post it will show up, but in the past I have only past the video url in the designated video file and the video was start picture of the post as well someone just click on the video and it will play. my complete homepage will only play videos from youtube. what is wrong ?

Hi, here is my website.
I have now changed the last posts (last 3 Days) and have embedded the video directly in the post.
As you can see for instance on one of my last posts, the video is placed as URL in the featured Video place
And if you click on the video, only a picture does pop up instead playing the video.
This all happens by itself about 3-5 days ago.
Older post do work proper as they should.

This was an old posting what you have grabbed and on the older postings everything is still fine.

You might note that only a picture pops up instead the youtube video is playing although the video link has been deposit
In the featured video frame. That’s actually my problem and the problem did accrue a couple days ago just on purpose.

I have checked that post and this is not a video post and also, you do not have a Featured Video -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6qx98EwL Please edit it and add a video instead of your image, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

Hi Catalin, I’ve figured out the problem already. A couple days before it didn’t mater if you have selected video or normal post the software has atomatocaly set the right format for you. Now you have to set the post to video otherwise you see only a picture although you have placed a video. I can remember that in the past we had the same behavior already then it worked without set to video and now it works again like in the past. that’s it. any idea why this tase been changed again ?
