Suggestion: An element that might be really useful would be one set up for a schedule of events — date, event name, event place in a pre-formatted list that’s quick to fill out. I’m trying to construct one for events going on in our community and I expect that if all goes well, I’ll get a lot of submissions that would be laborious to enter if there’s not a pre-formatted element. What do you think?

If I did find a good calendar plugin, how would I have the calendar widget inserted onto a page using tagdiv composer? Is there a way to populate a column or box with a short code or somehow get the calendar to display?
Just to reply to myself – I got my calendar widget to display. I did indeed simply put in the short code for the calendar widget into the page. Before, or instead of editing the page with tagdiv composer, edit the page normally with the WordPress editor, and you will see lots of short codes for tagdiv. Just insert your short code in the appropriate spot.
I used a Block Text With Title block and it looks like this (the ai1ec shortcode is for my calendar):

If you want to use such a plugin with that functionality, please notice that all of the generated shortcodes should have to be added inside a Column Text or Text with Title element. Being untested plugin, notice that we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with our theme, sorry!
