Hi
Ive been using wp bakery but with the changes in 9.7 i want to move over to tagdiv composer. One issue, how do I create a 5 or 6 column menu? I use this layout for some mega menus, and I don’t want to loose this layout option. Can you please advise.

Hi,

If you want to split your Header section into 6 columns, you need to use the Header Manager functionality and split your ROW into 3 columns and then, inside each column, you need to add an inner column which has to be split into 2 columns as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HAhi4K5ER Also, notice that if you want to achieve these, you need to use our page builder. Also, for better theme results we recommend using Td Composer without WP Bakery because might appears some issues.

Thank you!

Hi
Yes I’m trying to use Td Composer now. That makes sense, but could you explain how to achieve a 5 column layout?

Hi,

As a quick solution, if you want to make 5 columns, you need to add 5 inner rows inside a single ROW and the, add the following custom CSS code and place it inside your live CSS from TD Composer editor, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OB09WsCmoYw -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4o1dt8kuOG

Thank you!

Yes but how do I add 5 inner rows? The only layout options are shown here 3 or 4 seem to be the only option. All i want to do is divide a page into 5 equally spaced columns! https://ibb.co/k4SmDQM

Also, I want to add just plain text to a column so I drag in the text column element in, hit edit content https://ibb.co/mXvdGjd and the wp editor box appears. I then type my text, but there is no save option?? https://ibb.co/MBW1bS4 The box keeps on displaying the dummy text…

Hi,

Notice that an inner ROW is just another ROW inside a ROW as you can see here ->
