After updating https://5g.security/ to 9.7.2 the pagination in various blocks stopped working. Both arrows or “Load more” buttons stopped functioning. Same thing with block filters.
Tested with multiple browsers on multiple machines. Also tested without caching, Cloudflare development mode, etc.
Any ideas?
I figured it out eventually. My host’s (Siteground) “SG Optimizer” function has an option “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources – Removes version query strings from your static resources improving the caching of those resources” which seems to cause it. Once I disabled it, the pagination started working.
The option was enabled before, so there is some conflict with the new Newspaper.
I had the same issue. I use Prefmatters plugin which had Removes version query strings enabled. I disabled the plugin after seeing your thread but not luck still the “load more” button does not work.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
