Enabling WebP format via Imagify extension

Hello

I am using the Imagify extension, which recently offers to convert images to WebP and modifies the site code to use <picture> tags.
This is the recommended solution but some themes may break and I would like to make sure that it will not impact the rendering of the Newspaper theme.

Hi,

Unfortunately there were not test with WebP format via Imagify extension on our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry!

Hi,

You can add the <picture> </picture> code in code editor but this will not be interpenetrate like tag, usually all html tags should work with or theme in code editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/8G5yyDPT
