Hi

if I want to use the Newspaper Pagebuilder, do I have to install the classic Editor plugin and deactivate Gutenberg?
Or can I use Gutenberg and TagDiv parallel?

Hi,

You can use the theme provided page builders regardless of Gutenberg being active or not, used or not. So for post contents you can use Gutenberg if needed, there should not be any problems.
You could also build pages with Gutenberg, but then don’t edit them with the composer. Pages should be built with one page builder of your choosing, then only edited with it if needed, not with a different builder. So if you build a page with Gutenberg, this page should only be edited or modified with Gutenberg.

Thanks for the info.

So if I do not want to use Gutenberg, does it make sense to use the classic Editor Plugin?

If you don’t want Gutenberg, install the classic editor plugin
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
Installing this plugin will automatically deactivate Gutenberg. The classic plugin will also add these options – http://prntscr.com/np8orq
