how show Latest Article Content only, from a single category
Hi all!
is there a way to call the content of the latest article from a category in tagdiv composer? I got a client that likes block 18 (top article) presentation, but below the photo they want all of the content text of the same article… I used block 18 limited to 1 post and below i placed block 11 for the rest of the posts. In between these two i tried the Display Posts plugin so i can use shortcodes. I get an unstyled full/no paragraphs text. For some reason i don’t think that this is the best or most optimal solution anyway.
Any suggestions?

I reproduced your styles and I think the best element to add your functions is to use a Column text instead of Display Posts Plugin. Also make sure that you are entering the shortcodes in Visual Mode.

If i use a Column Text (i guess you mean a text element, isn’t it?) how will i “call” the content of the most recent article of a certain category?
in a general idea, how would i call … anything inside it?
Do i miss something in your suggestion?

I’m sorry for missunderstanding you issue !
Unfortunately the closest you can get to your request is by using the Block 23 and even there you will have a read more button wich can’t be edited to show full posts. And i’ve meant that if you find a shortcode from a plugin in order to display it I recommend you pasting it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/sTvYmBeL

Thank you for answer. I managed to come very close by using the “display-posts” plugin. I used it exactly as you showed and inside the test area i pasted the below shortcode:
[display-posts category=”my-category” include_title=”false” include_content=”true” posts_per_page=”1″ wrapper=”div” wrapper_class=”td-post-content” order=”ASC”]
It works but it strips down all html tags. The result is a simple one-block ugly text.
In tagdiv composer it displays perfect but when i visit the front end, as soon as the page renders, all tags are striped. Could this be something solved from inside Newspaper?
