Latest Download Keeps Hanging & Only 5.4 MB

Hi,

I wanted to wait a couple days after the last update for all the bugs to get figured out and fixed. I tried downloading yesterday from themeforest page and it kept hanging and not completing. Today it’s doing the same. It gets to 73 MB and then just stops and hangs. Have tried 7 different times now with 4 different browsers but same problem.

When I try to download the latest version of Newspaper, it won’t complete the download. It’s done this to other people in that past so you all have dealt with this before.

That would be unusual, I tried it as well, seems to download all the way same as always

Maybe it was something temporarily with the Envato servers. Try downloading again, or with a different browser, or even a different PC. There have been no other similar reports as far as I know.

I had same issue and discovered somehow windows defender blocks the file. Disabling real time scan and firewall worked for me.

@valoryn I also have defender active (up to date), but found no problems in downloading the theme package from themeforest. I tried multiple times. Theme package on themeforest is thoroughly scanned by us and by Envato, before making theme available for download.
