I noticed that when using Cloud Templates for post settings, the translation to other languages isn’t working.
For example, things like “By”, “Last updated” or the date format itself is not being translated. This does not happen with a non-Cloud Template. Anything I can do to change this? Thanks!

Cloud templates can’t be translated at the moment, you could create different templates and use them depending on the language of the post. So you can set a template created as needed for each of the languages of the post. That should work properly.
If it doesn’t for some reason, let me know how exactly you are setting it up so I can check on my end.

Just one add-on question: Can these Cloud Templates by modified by some Theme Update? Or in other words, how can I make sure that my modified Cloud templates stay the same even after a Theme update?

There is one thing which I can’t figure out: How to change the date format on the translated Cloud templates. I need the German date for translations.
The posts, pages, templates and theme panel won’t be affected by a theme update. But as always a backup should be made prior to updating the theme, just to be safe.
The actual date should translate automatically, when the language of the post is changed. So for example while a post in English date looks like this – http://prntscr.com/nxbsqf

There was a setting with WPML which had changed but now it’s working fine again.
