Running a newsmagazine website and for movies and television shows we use quotation marks (ie. “title”) around the name of a movie or TV show in the body of a post. However, in the title of the post itself we use apostrophes around names of movies and TV shows (ie. ‘title’). When using the Twitter button, the usage of ‘title’ become ‘word while the usage of & (ie. ‘B&B’) becomes & How can this be corrected? It only happens with the Twitter button that comes with the theme, not the official Twitter button/icon.
NOTE: As a point of reference, if a word used in the title of the post has an apostrophe it also creates the special characters.
The example is noted above in the image (ie. Share a link with your followers), but here it is again (it is a screenshot of what a tweet popup button looks like when you click on the Twitter button):
When clicking on the Twitter button that the theme uses when you activate sharing in post settings (either Top Article Sharing or Bottom Article Sharing), the Twitter button puts special characters in the tweet text when you use ‘ or & in the title of your post.
