I’m very happy with the theme and everything, however, I have noticed that my thumbnail images appear kinda blurry when visualizing them from my homepage and I can’t explain that.
When I click on a blog post everything appears correct and the images have a very high resolution as expected. Any help on this?

I have noticed how, from the beginning, the images in the section you mentioned in your answer aren’t affected by this problem. All the others are, however, still blurry even after applying your solution.
I’m referring especially to the ones in the: latest articles section

Please make sure that when you are set the image, you select/set a larger size or the full size, for a quality result.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also you can try to regenerate the Thumbnails – Fix strange looking images on blocks.
