I have installed and activated the famous Disqus commenting system on my journal (dharmadispatch.in). However it doesn’t seem to display at the end of each article. Please help. Also, let me know what other commenting system is supported by the Newspaper theme.

All plugins that are tested with our theme can be found in Newspaper > Plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/i70rduqUR73
Unfortunately we did not tested Disqus plugin and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

NewsPaper is not supporting any external comment system after theme update.
Thrive comments also stopped working.
I was using Thrive comments successfully until a recent update. It now works on mobile site but not desktop.
I contacted the plugin developer and they pointed me to this error message: https://cl.ly/98708d487da4
I understand Thrive Comments is not officially supported with the theme, but it’s frustrating to have a commercial plugin which worked previously and doesn’t work any longer.
Can this problem be fixed?

Is possible that the changes that was made in our theme to not longer be compatible with these plugins, in order to provide a fix for this is need for a custom work; unfortunately, we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

one year of this request and there’s not even an intention to help. It’s only to modify a line of code for your developer! I know MANY people who have leave of use your theme to get the Thrive Theme Comments to work again on your websites. And I’m the next if you do not correct the HUGE error with Yoast Plugin and the canonical tag. It causes drop the rankings and the loss of organic traffic from Google.
The willingness of your developer team causes me a lot of pain!
Do you want your theme to be different from the others? Then develop something in your theme join ALL the comments together in one place.
To all continue waiting 1 more year to have the same response from the support. This story is the same to add Facebook comments to the theme. Years with the same subject and there is no definitive guide to include. Just…. plugin and more plugins.

What problem are you referring?
If the canonical is set double, please disable tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack, delete theme and re-install the plugins from Newspaper > Welcome or Newspaper > Plugins after that clear all cache and check again.

The topic of Facebook comments is many years old, I think it is more than 5 years. So hoping to add this feature to the theme will be a dream in every way. If there is no simple integration with the most important social network in years, what can I expect for thrive comments?

The problem with canonical will no longer a problem, the fix was made in theme plugins, as for the feature implementation, all the suggestions that we get we pass to our developers, after that they decide what to do. I just reopen this ticket, maybe this time will be implemented.
