Hi,
I’m moving my site to Newspaper9, so Id like to use Tagdiv on my content. As my previous theme was not using any page builder, it seems that the content is not compatible. I’ve tried to download templates for the gallery but they wont apply. So could please explain the steps in order to export the content with Tagdiv?
And surprisingly on pages I have the “edit with tagdiv” button (preview mode), but not on posts.
Thank you.
Hello !
In order to use the tagdiv composer we suggets istalling a demo from the Demo library: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-installing-demos/. And for posts you can add a single post cloud library template and edit it after: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/
You can find more information and know hows on our documentation section here: https://tagdiv.com/category/documentation/
Thank you !
Hi Vlad,
Thank you but I already have the default template and downloaded a few single post templates from library. So I can see my articles with the new theme, but I can edit posts using tagdiv.
In preview mode (pages) I have the “edit with tagdiv” button, but then a popup says “The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!” So I can only add an element at the top, but can’t move it etc.
With articles, I dont even have the “edit with tagdiv” button anywhere…
Cheers,
Phil
Hello !
The tagDiv Composer can apply only on elements that are from the theme. The homepage for example can be fully customized using the tagDiv Composer. For standard Header / Footer you will have to go into Theme Panel – Header / Footer and edit there. If you want custom header / footer you will have to add them from the Cloud Library: https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/
Post pages can be edited only if you use Single Post Template. Make sure that you applied the template sitewide from here: https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/ Find out more about it here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/
If you face any issues let me know. Eventually add a link to your page and what the issue is so we can inspect it even further.
Thank you !
