This problem seems to happen if you are using the latest version of the WPBackery, like 6.0.3. Please note that kind of version has not been yet tested with our theme and that’s why we recommend using the version which comes bundled with the theme core files. (6.0.2). This is unacceptable. As I purchased the theme with the plugin installed from you and not directly from WPBakery, WPBakery will not support their plugin – that falls to you. I’d like a fix to my issue please.

We are sorry that you are facing this issue! Please note that our theme comes bundled with the plugins which are currently working well with our theme. In that case, the theme comes with WPBackery 6.0.2 which is tested with our theme and which works as properly, at the moment. Checking the source page of your website, I saw that you are using the latest version of that plugin, which is 6.0.3 and which is not yet tested with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nEBij66sOwl Probably, you WPBackery has been updated because you have paid this plugin which allows you to update it to the latest version of it. Please note that you have to use only the version of the plugins which come bundled with our theme packet if you want to achieve good theme results. Please read the following useful guide from here -> https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins where is specified which are the main differences between standalone plugins and bundled plugins.

I understand what you are telling me – but how do I fix this? There was anther issue with a plugin that I have since removed (a membership plugin) but in the process of determining what was wrong, someone who thought they were being helpful updated all the other software and plugins. So how do I get back to the version that works with the theme I purchased?

If you want to roll back the WPBackery to the version of the plugin which comes bundled with our theme you will need to remove it and load it again from the theme packet folder from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Tsl4LnTuw In the future, please do not update it. Keep the version which comes bundled with our theme. After you have made these steps, please clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

We pulled the WPBakery file off the ThemeForest Newspaper download – I have no idea where to find an older version. Can you provide?

I have checked your website and I saw that you have changed the version of WPBackery -> https://www.screencast.com/t/a3fhKVEClPfA Also, I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which might affect the theme functionality and also, the functionality of this plugin. After that, if the problem persists, please remove all of these plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. I have made some tests with the latest version of the theme and with WPBAckery 6.0.2 and it seems to return good results.
